ADLM Counties, Environmental Public Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Health Inspector preferably with a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in the natural or physical sciences or related fields and/or applicable experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. One year of experience in public health, environmental health or related field preferred. Duties will include performing field and office work for the environmental public health programs such as on-site private sewage inspections, abandoned well-plugging, well rehabilitation, new well construction, water quality, food inspections, public health nuisance, hazards and other general health concerns. Skills in organization, keeping accurate records, and ability to analyze laws, rules and local ordinances are required. Successful candidate must be able to work in a team-based environment and have effective technical, written and verbal skills. Must be able to use a computer and have familiarity with: Basic data entry, Word processing, Email, Internet and Presentations.
